assume for one moment that time equals distance. the distance from the earth to the sun nets you about 8 minutes of time. now picture something that travels faster than the speed of light would arrive there instantly due to the fact that it was traveling back in time eight minutes as it was moving forward 8 minutes. this is what pupford was hinting at :)
