"its impossible to prepare for the unexpected, by definition," alfred hitchcock.
now ghost is pretty savy, he's plugged as many numbers into his calculations as possible. he's got superior information, an idea of whats been going on for eons before he came on the scene, and a strike first attitude to prevent things from getting out of control. but he has limits, so what can he do? he plans defenses around his own failings too.
he mentioned it before, he throws so many solutions at a problem that he overwhelms it first.which may not always be the best use of resources, but it certainly inspires terror in an enemy, which it turn is a resource in and of itself. :D
