ilishuda

Tide, page 4
kalliikak onprobably the last page of this little comic.
i was looking at making an 'official' site for ilishuda, and so, looking for webhosts and then reviews on those webhosts and things like that. though after careful consideration, the only conclusion i came to was that most of the sites dealing with webhosts, and webhost reviews, and even the reviews themselves, seem to be an elaborate network of lies. sort of like spam emails or "make 5000 dollars a day from home" commercials… and it seemed no matter how you worded the search, you'd come across the same 10 hosts, and the million or so "this host is so good, i sacrificed my firstborn and sent the blood to their circle of profit binding" reviews. even if you searched for "webhost scams" or "terrible webhost service" you'd get the same 10 or so webhosts and their sparkling reviews and fake promotions.
i wonder how many other internet searches this applies to…
at any rate. nothing yet on the webhost front. i figure i'll look into who is hosting some of the sites i've visited for years and years. sites that i am extremely confident are not hoaxes, hehe.
as for this little "tide" story. there are technically one or two more panels before what would have been a title panel. however, they are old and i'm not happy with them at all. so it'll either stop here, or i'll find time to finish new ones. we'll see. if all else fails, pumpkinkng has a few pages nearly complete for a sort of mini-comic companion to his story Guardians of Ashur. we also have a lot of concept art in the works, and hopefully some more maps and stories and other things to help flesh out the ilishuda world. i'm trying to toss things up in sort of a coherent manner, matching articles and concept art to places already mentioned in comics or narratives. we'll see how that goes :)
thanks for visiting.
