Before puberty kicked in, Kate was a major-league tomboy and a seriously good baseball player. That's why she always handles the bat when attacking people none-magicaly. I had an ass-kicking first panel, but my computer rebooted and I ran shorton time, which is why this isn't fully photoshopped to perfection.
