Here's a cameo from Frank Black and Peter Watts of "Millennium" fame. Well, maybe not fame, because I have no idea if anyone remembers the series… it was cancelled after its third season, so it didn't even reach the turn of the millennium that it was counting down to. I thought the least I could do was include some characters in this turn-of-the-millennium-story.

For those of you who don't know: Frank Black is a freelance profiler working mostly for the police, but he joined the Millennium Group, some shady organization of ex-police profilers, after he'd officially quit police work. Peter Watts is some sort of higher ranking Millennium Group member.

Again, the storytelling may make some difficulties, as we're already cutting away from the main plot surrounding Kat again… so I have to ask for some more patience :-)

DAJB: Thanks, and you're right! However, I think watching Alien(s) and Millennium coincided pretty much for me. I was really late on watching Alien…
Midge: I should've thought of the Lost connection… it always seems strange to me to see Peter Watts on that island :D As far as funny goes, wait for the next page (and concerning the last panel, you'll also see on the next page what it refers too… I hadn't thought of the possibility of adressing the readers, and I wish I could say I intended that effect :D)! But other than that, they were added as a homage - because I used to be a major Millennium fan, and I still think the first season is way up there with Twin Peaks and Carnivale!
