Unlike what I stated in the case of Venus & Mercury dialogue, Kat's dia- and monologues were quite difficult to write. She doesn't talk much, and when she does, I have to give her the right kind of voice… there's been much soul-searching involved on my part, how I feel about things, how these things can be expressed at all. Because these are meant to be the kinds of thoughts which you rather keep to yourself… they express some unspoken feeling.

In that way these are "authentic" thoughts, and I tried not to change much when I re-did the lettering… I wanted to keep that original "voice" I had back then. So I keep some odd stuff like the music metaphor in the second-to-last panel on this page, while I changed the text in the last panel a bit… in this case I'd say I sharpened her statement. In the original text she'd use the expression "self-imposed loneliness" and that Sinéad's was, in contrast to her's, not self-imposed.
