The previous page was written when I still had an ending in mind which was quite different from the one I used in the final version, thus what the speakers say about never finding out what happened was even more justified :-)
This page however was supposed to follow after the proper ending. It's a sort of continuation, or epilogue, and it was supposed to dwell on some storyline/character issues a bit more. They never evolved beyond the rough pencil versions though.
