I ask forgiveness..for liberties i take.. the little bit of new york i try to capture on my pages is a remembered bits of childhood..from a time.. when I counted the lights till we came to the end of Lincoln tunnel.. when I thought Queensboro bridge was the longest in the world.. and that my feet would fall off before we got to 5th av. grandma would not ride in a taxi.. we had to take the bus, the subway, or walking.. when we moved to the land of ice and snow.. new york became a story to remember on cold dark days…
