The men’s toilets at nightclubs are not the kind of place for a chat. I personally wouldn’t recommend them for even urinating in if needs didn’t must throughout the night.

One local nightspot has brightened up their toilets by putting the sports section of the newspaper in a plastic display above the urinals for the guys to read – presumably to take the attention away from that burning sensation in their nostrils and the highly dubious stickiness all over the floor. It has not done me much favours because of my low tolerance to burly gents and my allergies to sport, but I encourage any initiative that cuts down toilet banter.
