As a nation, we love to make the most of our days off regardless of the reason. Whether it be the Queen’s Birthday, International Talk Like a Pirate day or even a spastic colon, you can rest assured that Australian’s will be doing whatever they can to not be working during it. I myself often go to work at death’s door specifically because I’ve been saving my sick leave for something rather wonderful in the not too distant future.

You’ll be pleased to know that Patt is making a full recovery and although his official stance is that he and his appendix have only entered into a trial separation, it seems doubtful that there will be a comeback tour any time soon.
