Anyway, sWORDplay is back to updating for the time being. I've got a buffer of about two weeks, so my plan is to update daily for at least the next month. Unfortunately, there are only so many English words to play with, and not all of them are reliable choices, so we'll see what happens.

For awhile, I was drawing these gags on the computer, but I went back to pen and paper (hooray DnD!) with all of the new ones. Obviously, the illustrations are bad regardless of whatever medium I use, but since each page relies heavily on facial expressions (I think, at least), I need the accuracy/precision that hand-drawing them provides. I'm also trying to make my crude pictures even more minimalist. Too much on the page takes away from the subtlety that the comic runs on (again, in my opinion).

And that's all. If any one of my three-four readers is inspired enough to redraw some of these pages, I think that would be pretty cool. I'm accepting all contributions.
