This is another angle of page 6/panel 4 from the prologue… the narrator shall be revealed on the next page.

Fitz: Awwww *melts* thanks a lot, you really know which buttons to push :-D Yeah, I'm insecure about my writing most of the time, but I love writing, and I especially love writing interior monologues… I end up with pages of 'em, and for the comics I just edit a lot ^^ This one here came to me pretty quickly… there's not much to it except for some introspection and a metaphor. I first thought of a crystalline structure, but the fragility of Mikado is a lot more fitting. As a writer I'm not too subtle (just the opposite really), and I admire your subtle writing. Near future/alternative reality is quite right. Quite. And I can't wait to show you some mesozoic waitresses.

Midge: For now you'll just have to wait and see… by now the only real connection is "sector 22.3b". So the little girl and whoever she's talking to are talking about someone at the location we're now exploring.
