I don't see any reasonable alternative to three-point-perspective. I rarely use it as noticeable as on this page, but on the other hand nowadays there are few pictures where I wouldn't use it at all (obviously only applies to pictures with backgrounds). Recently I read an ad for a how-to book teaching perspective, and it boasted to be "the only book teaching five-point-perspective". Ho-hum.
EDIT:
Nepath: Thanks! Midge: Right, and I'm happy about it actually :-) DAJB: Heheh… she's just playing hard to get. Fitz: Thanks for the compliment, I'm really happy myself with how the shading turned out… I never showed the sun, but I have the constant feeling that it's setting when I look at these pages. The twilight enhances that kind of otherworldly feel I think. And I never said she was an alien, did I? Maybe she IS just a cosplayer :D Concerning perspective, I think I commended you on your foreshortening already (a car you drew comes to my mind). On this comic I just wanted to have very "clear" visuals… as opposed to obscuring rain, for instance. 3-point-perspective helps me achieve that "clear" effect. As for 5-point-perspective…
