Second page this week; the plan is to have signifikat update each Thursday from now on and A.D 1997 on Mondays.

During the past weeks I've usually started thinking about how to draw the page Thursdays, sat down to sketch something Fridays, inked, scanned and cleaned it up late Friday or Saturday and toned it so I could upload it on the weekend. But when I was done I instantly had to start work on the A.D page, which is pretty much *just* mindless clean-up and toning work. This weekend I wouldn't have time do to a page anyway (another exam), so I changed the schedule to accord with what seems to be the standard around here.

Nepath: Thanks a lot! You know you're free to ramble anytime… (I'm quite happy about that actually!) As to your questions: We will be following different people here whose stories won't seem connected at first, but their stories won't necessarily coincide with the numbering of books. Rather, I'll rotate stories according to how they fit into the grander scheme… meaning, the first book may feature any number of different characters, but they will all deal with a similar subject, or a similar introduction into this world. I haven't decided yet exactly when to rotate protagonists, the only thing I'm pretty sure about so far is that episode 2 will pick up where 1 leaves off. I'm glad you're not growing bored about this scene, there'll be some action soon enough; but so far, I was afraid this might be dull either because (a) it's mostly talking heads and (b) I've done some diner scenes before (I had to think particularly of the one I recently did in A.D 1997 ep. 1) and it might have degenerated into a rehash. The Taken reference escapes me - again I never saw the series, only heard of it (as is the case with so many TV series these days, sheesh!)…

Fitz: It sure sounds like your coloring work is piling up…! Just in case, I hope you're not just selectively coloring individual pages… it's all or nothing! :D Thanks a lot for the compliments, they always make my day. Drooling over characters of fiction ain't as bad as it sounds… depends on the character I'd say ^^ You're free to drool over mine; maybe I should do a swimsuit issue oneday? Hmmmmm…

DAJB: With girls like these it's best to get some reaction at all, so I'm not sure if he'd want any real answers to begin with… and he's looking INTO HER EYES, I'm sure of it! :D Thanks a lot!

Midge: Thanks, these dialogues are basically parts of my own experience, simply spun farther than in reality :D And so far you've been there every single day, so I'm not worrying too much about the new schedule… ^^
