Chapter 3 Prologue 1

Quick departure from our main storyline, as always at the beginning of a chapter: It's back to Iia and her psychedelic adventures in deep space.

If I remember correctly, "conceptual scheme" is a term coined by Willard Van Orman Quine. If you follow the first link you can read a neat little summary of what my master's thesis was about (the part about Davidson, respectively).
