Hey look… it's Mrs Wong! "WHO??" you say. Well, she's the one looming in the background in the first few pages of chapter 2. And that was really all she was required to do on this comic. But I didn't want anyone to think I'd forgotten about her, so - ta-daa - she gets another appearance. Originally, I had planned for Nora to play her part on this page.

Also, why does the comic have to end now that I'm starting to get the hang of drawing the characters? (Seriously, has the mean doc's hair-do ever really looked good before this page?) It's just not fair… T_T

BTW #2: I updated the signifikat sketchbook last week, for the first time in forever.

DAJB: Tell you what, I actually changed that line from "You're free" to "You're a free man" - just because it's that much more obviously relative :P

Fitz: I'm not sure a brothel's name would make me decide to go there! :P And yes, pride is definitely overrated. But it's still hard to overcome, I guess…

Jabali: Haha, yes! So, judging from your reaction… you've never won the lottery, I take it? :P And brothels… well, I don't know, in those kind of surroundings it would probably take me a while to… loosen up ^^;

alejkhan: Well, in your defense, it has all been highly ambiguous so far. That's why this sequence has to make sure that sure that everyone's on the same page, so to speak. The idea is that "Cinnamon City" was the name of the bakery, and when the brothel moved in, they just kept the old name. But maybe we can delve into this in the second signifikat interview…? :P Also, thanks a lot for using terms like "love", "great" and "awesome" in relation to my stuff! ^_^

JNP: Thanks! But, y'know, I recently ordered this surround sound system, and when I found out it wouldn't connect with my Blu-Ray-player, I had to send it back. That was a minor hassle. Only, the surround thingie doesn't complain. A mail order bride, on the other hand… well, I think I'd rather go with the brothel :P And if you had commented in Jabali's spot, it probably wouldn't have been the 1000th :D
