Chapter 6 Page 07

Man, there are so many things I don't like about this page (I'm having a bad art day coupled with an emo day). I do like the dialogue though.

If I'd had more space, I might have expanded Ed's lines in panel 3. But I hope it's clear either way that despite having a gift which others might envy him about, he has no aspirations to master it at all. I believe that's one of the central points about the character. (And I can beat you over the head with the fact that this mirrors how I feel about my "gift": that I cheat my way through these pages constantly. I told you - emo day :P)

How can this mess of a comic ever be resolved in only 9 more pages, you ask?? Well, maybe it's some kind of miracle machine which, when activated, will instantly punish the bad guys, marry off Ed to Sunhra and paint a beautiful sunset in the sky.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

(P.S.: I just read DAJB's guidelines on lettering, thus my emboldening factor has gone up by at least 300% ^_^)

REPLIES:

DAJB: I'm easy to influence, especially by people who write /& letter) great comics :P Also, a dawn works just as well. Don't tell me you don't have one of those! ;-)

Fitz: Emo days make me worry automatically, otherwise they wouldn't be emo days, now would they? :P Also, take off the cap!!! Man, it's too hot for a cap. Except if you're still bald… frying your brain directly isn't an option. But yeah, it was hot as hell the past few days…

alejkhan: Well, I am trying to work it into the final sequence, but it will probably be all hints and no real explanation. (Actually I have already written it, but you never know whether or not I might change things at the last minute. Anyway, I wouldn't mind you asking me about it in the eventual interview ^_^)

Peipei, Jabali, Zephyrion, man in black, mmm bacon0: Thanks!
