I saw 'About hers' comment this morning on yesterdays page about Janey being 'in the place where the sun doesn't shine' and I thought OMG! How could I have missed that one!lol I'm too pure that's my prob!
For those of you who are wondering, I do want to continue the story of 'Simply Sarah'. She is my baby and I'm very fond of her, but she has to give me and Emma a rest while we think about our future plans.
This is the second page of the dream. There are six pages in all, and for every page I am doing a spotlight on one of the comics in my faves list that really inspires me.

WIRES 1 & Wires 2 by Dark Chibi

I've been following Jess's work practically since I started my own strip. She's a great gal and very popular on DD in herself, but what I love most about Jess is her enthusiasm. The girl is an art powerhouse! With no less than 14 comics running at the moment on here, She updates practically daily on more than one strip sometimes and if she is really excited we tend to get even more flung at us! Whereas so many of us on here flag and moan about feeling tired at times, if there was an award for perseverance, then Jess would win it!.
She has qualities in her art and humour that come across very well in most of her strips and I especially love some of her manic comic sketches for her earlier work on DUE, but in the Wires stories I think we are seeing the best of her work so far in terms of both story and art, and I'm so pleased to see she has gained a regular following on that now, and is getting more and more recognition for her efforts.


WIRES is the story of Linder, the shyest person you'll ever meet.
But it just so happens that Mark is the most outgoing person you'll ever meet, and he happens to love shy people! So the relationship is on to an interesting angle from the very start!

In WIRES 2

David does well in every subject, gets A's on everything, and school is a breeze for him. After a while he finds school is just boring and he wants something more interesting in his life.
That certain something turns out to be a guy named Wasso who David has a crush on. Wasso is kinda mean and would most likely beat the shit out of David if he got the chance, but David is drawn to him and finds the rejection makes him crave Wasso's acceptance all the more. Can they ever be friends…and possibly even more?!!
