SS4 08 Sarah gets a job

My dad has bought a new electric kettle which the makers (russell Hobbs) thought would be cool to put a thing in the base which is SUPPOSED to imitate the old fashioned whistle you used to get on the gas kettles. My dad had had it three days before he remarked to me that it was making a most peculiar sound every time it boiled. I couldn't help laughing when I heard it as it sounds like something between a child wailing and a fox in heat! My dad isn't too bothered though. As he pointed out, most new gimmicks pack up after a month anyway!!
