SS4 27 Sarah tells Gerry her idea

Way back when I used the dating ads thing, you just sent letters to each other via a PO box held by the newspaper and so it was a real buzz for me to find a letter on my mat once or twice a week, but now with the net and email everything is so much faster and I'm not sure that's such a good thing. Out of interest I registered (not joined!) two online dating sites last week as a 22yr old to get in an idea of what Gerry would be facing if she used the net. I gave no pic and no details and yet surprisingly I have been inundated with messages from 'interested parties' which I can only read if I subscribe (and look suspiciously like standard admin bait), but perhaps even more dissappointingly was that even though I filled in the boxes as a 'female looking for a female', about 90% of the women selected as suitable for her were all hetero's looking for men! lol

Maybe Clomle's right and Gerry does stand a better chance by joining a pottery class! (I never went to one so I wouldn't know!)
