SS4 90 Nikki has a secret

I love the colouring on this page! As well as being very talented at using lighting to create atmosphere, Emi also has a lovely way of bringing the characters to life with her skin toning and attention to clothing especially. 
  <— The DD awards are upon us yet again, so Emi informed me last night, and she has done a beautiful advert for SS to tempt the voters. It's been such a bad time for morale on DD recently with all the continued site probs and adapting to the changeover and I know a lot of good comics have migrated to other comic sites so perhaps the awards might help to inject some excitement back into the old place again. 
Although I've taken the opportunity to begin reloading the entire SS comic on Comicfury too I still have some faith in the Duck and it feels like most of my readers are still here. The new site tools are maybe a bit frustratingly confined at times, but so quick and easy to use that it has made comicking a lot of fun again. I really DO miss the stats counter though. On Comicfury they have a wonderful graph showing the slow rise in popularity of this comic on there, which excites me as much now as it did in the early days on DD. It's a real boost to see your daily views jump from as little as 5 to 8 and then a week later maybe to 12, and even more so when your comics new!

NEXT WEEK:   Sarah learns more about Nikki's book and what' it's actually about!!  She's in for a shock ;)
