SS4 109 At the Car Boot Fair

This is pretty much what a car boot fair is like over here in the UK. People load their cars up with stuff they no longer need or want and take them to privately organised events in places where they have plenty of open spaces like school playgrounds, supermarket car-parks and unused farmland. I'm a bit of an addict tbh and one of my pleasures is walking round in summer just seeing what pops up. I'm especially into old comics and magazines and luckily most people don't put any real value over on them over here so I usually get bundles quite cheap. It's kind of like looking around a museum too, as I often see stuff that I remember from my grandparents homes or even my own childhood, and it's lovely to feel that connection again. I think one of my favourite possesions is a cardboard chocolate box from the 1960's which I picked up last year in mint condition. It's probably worth nothing but my nan used to get a box every week from her admirer when we were kids and sgive them to us on the quiet instead. Anything that lasts the test of time like that is like stepping into a time machine for me.

Anyways hehe, lots of little clues to famous movies dotted about on this weeks page, how many do you recognise?

There's a few personal oddities thrown in too, don't ask me why, it just amuses me. The items in the foreground of panel four are a rebus that spells out the name of my favourite local bootfair (taking the first initial of each object) should you feel the urge.
