It's page three of Sunday and we haven't even reached lunchtime yet but already Sarah's day is starting to go a little pear shaped.

As a quick recap, the wedding Sarah has been invited to is that of Geraldine, a girl who was bullied at school by the same girl who ended up pushing Janey in front of a van. On leaving school, Sarah met Stacey again by pure chance and realised that she had always been a girl troubled by a history of personal problems. She also discovered that Geraldine's mother was a key social worker who had failed to stop Stacey's abuse, hence the reason for Geraldine becoming her target.
Partly through Sarah, Stacey and Geraldine worked out their issues and became close friends but Janey, the victim who everyone forgot about, has clearly still got buried issues of her own which come to the surface at the mention of Stacey's name.
