It's a really good model so far! The texturing will be a challenge. Has Star Trek ever done a spacewalk on the outside of one of these ships? It would be really neat to see a super-detailed model of the outside of one of these ships in that sort of scenario.

Cool beans! I can hear the swoosh as the deflector shields push the ether towards my sensor array. Beats me why they don't make the entire ship's hull out of the same mega-dense material they use at the joints of the nacelle support pylons.
