I've been reading The Next Adventure by Francesca Buchko and she splits up single drawings into several panels and I thought, "hey, that's a neat idea!" It separates the statement from the "punchline" (or whatever) of what I'm watching. And it got me a little more comfortable with condensing the space I use to depict things while giving me more steps to the day than I'd been using. Thanks, Francesca! :P
