Seriously, I killed most of the day just trying to get past the first two lines of anything I'd start to write. I used to write a lot (and fairly well) but I guess I've lost my inspiration. But most of that inspiration was from being enamored by someone or by feeling so insignificant and lonely that those most beautiful, dolorous words now warranted use. Now there's just a malaise about each day and there's no pretty words for malaise (aside from the word itself.
