The Yann Tiersen concert was wonderful (though a LOT different than I’d expected - very monolithic, powerful and quite postrock). I think that’s the first rock show I’ve seen that used a xylophone and those piano-flute things. And Typhoon was really good, too! Reminded me a bit of the new Efterklang, only with group vocals (I think everyone sang on multiple songs) and the songs had different movements, keeping just lyrics & a subtle tune carried through to anchor it to what preceded it. Very nice. :)
