"Marien" is taken from the German name for ladybug (thanks, Wikipedia). Also, the theme for this project is to make it a one-page minicomic book. Yes… a book that only uses one page of 8.5x11 paper. I'd originally thought a tiny comic book would just be so cute to have, so I folded up a piece of paper, counted the number of pages it should have (30, including the front cover) and decided that, since it's a tiny comic book, it should be about a tiny creature. Hopefully this turns out well, but I guess it could be a large print (if it works that way).
