As per my tweet after getting back from the excursion, "I do not like hot weather - dry or humid. I do not like it here, nor there. I do not like it anywhere." Also, while 8 was a good age, I don't want to go back there. I like being on my own and just wish I could make more progress to being a self-reliant, childish adult.
