Author notes
Ah, in the world of comics and scripted entertainment, everything works out in the end. Maybe it would have been interesting to deal a bunch of tragedy to our heroes. Nah, there is enough time for tragedy later on. Anyway, there was a great deal of debate in my house between Chris and me about whether or not to give Hanna final credit for the joke at the end. Chris’s argument was that Hanna never gets jokes like these, so to let her have it. Mine was that it went against her character, and just was not like her at all. While I understand what he was saying, I think this is the best move for the story. As the story moves on, there will be plenty of time to have the characters break the molds that I have set for them, but, just like Pam, at the beginning I need them to become established, so that, when they do something that is out of character, it will not have a negative impact on how people view the character.
