With this we conclude “Of Mice and Friends”. Originally I had this strip earlier, but I decided that this was a good way to end the episode. Part of the reason was that it didn’t fit where I wanted it to, but the other reason was because it ends the way that it started, with DJ and Pam just talking.

Ending anything can be difficult, especially in comedy, because a choice has to be made as to how it should be ended. There are some shows that manage to end just about every episode well, like Arrested Developement. Then there are shows http://www.drunkduck.com/account/comic/add_page.php?cid=27913
DrunkDuck: The Webcomics Community - Add Comic Pagelike Family Guy, which, although funny, never seem to get the ending of an episode just right. Due to the fact that they try and cram as many extreme jokes as they can, the episode never feels complete.

Some people might feel that I should have ended the episode last strip, because it was filled with more gags, but it doesn’t leave a finished feeling. With this comic, I decided to sacrifice the comedy a bit (although, I do feel that it is an entertaining strip) for the sake of the story.
