The Play's the Thing, part 6

I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news: we get a new character! Yeah! The bad news: This is really the only strip this character is going to be in this episode. =/

While we are on the topic of this new character, yes, he is inspired by the awesome Alex that posts on this very website! Now, while I would love to introduce everyone that was important to me from drama, there just isn’t enough time. That is not to say that there will not be more cameos, but that they will just happen during different plays or they will be introduced in different settings.

As everyone knows, I am a writer, so I do not just do things for no reason. The reason why we spend a strip to introduce Alex, is because he acts as a way to show DJ that the drama kids are just like him. There isn’t this social gap that he originally thought that there was, and the best way to do this, is to show someone that has similar interests to him.

Anyway, check in to see if the next strip is up on both Friday and Saturday, because I am not sure which day I will get it up. The artwork I am picturing is a little more complex than most, so we will see.
