Banana Debt

This idea came to me when my step-mom mentioned that she had made banana bread.
I thought to myself that I should joke around with her and let her know that I was looking forward to eating those bananas and that she should have checked with everyone before she turned them into something else. I would've continued with, "maybe I wanted the bananas more than the banana bread".

But the joking around never happened.
I just couldn't lie about that.
Banana bread is so much better than bananas.

But the idea of being "robbed" of a banana is what stuck in my head.
