It is true, my friends, the plaid knight has returned.
And I worked a lot on this comic.

First I wrote down a list of possible bad-ass scenes to see Wayne taking part in and then chose these ones.
The second frame is my favorite. In that frame I had this idea of a blurry slimy looking green guy with black eyes and multiple hands. I'm not too sure that the sliminess is too obvious. I put a bright shine on him, but it just looks like a spotlight raining down on him, which looks cool too.

The third frame was inspired by this episode of the Kevin Sorbo Hercules. It's the one where Hercules was running through the Minotaur's labyrinth. I loved that episode because you never got a good look on the beast, just a bunch of silhouettes. It might've been just to hide poor puppetry, but the it worked and the look was great. That episode always sticks in my mind.

And the fourth frame is just plain cool. I had this whole 300 slow motion head slice in my mind.

I hope that you all enjoy this particular strip as much as I do.
