Okay… after some tweaks to what I originally posted I'm left feeling a little bit like Old George Lucas. Lucas has a fixation with 'perfecting' the Original Trilogy every few years. You know… adding vital things that he ALWAYS INTENDED to have in there… *cough* Okay, I'm being mean… and here I am doing it with this strip. After site regular John pointed out a slight flaw in my previous attempt at mild humor, I decided that this particular strip needed a little 'fixing'. Although it's still primarily an observation, I kind of like the casualness of the officers about having been picking off rebel escapees who must have been floating helplessly inside the pods. A bit like shooting monkey's in a barrel, right? Incidentally, where the hell did that expression come from? Did people do this literally, or is it just one of those side show / fair ground games? I have no idea.
