It's depressing how fast ideas can come to you and how long it takes to realize them. Coloring these pages is taking me forever @__@ and I still have much to learn. Hope y'all like'em though!
EDIT:
Midge: Thanks a lot, I haven't quite found my coloring style yet, and I'm very unsure (and it's taking me forever too). So I'm very glad to get positive feedback. As for the speech: The idea is that the old man continues the speech, and I envision he gets behind the podium too. We may get to see that on one of the following pages. Good idea on the font, making the LED the main font here. I created the logo from scratch, without any font, but there should be one somewhere… thanks for the link too.
ironhand: I wouldn't wanna get on her bad side. Thanks!
cs3ink: Thanks for the criticism, I'll take it into consideration. Some of these decisions have been made consciously, i.e. starting with a close-up instead of a full body shot - focussing on emotion first. It's a technique I like in films, maybe I haven't mastered it yet. But I agree, I could have established who speaks when in a better way. Though I doubt that reading this could justifiably lead to confusion, since the speech bubbles are all pointing directly to the speakers. But there may be better angles than those I have chosen. As for the crowd: again, I agree with what you're saying, it's just there's only so much I can show on one page, establishing the speakers, the location and Bombshell's presence. The audience will have to wait until the next page. True, it takes the momentum out of the clapping - until you turn the page. Again, thanks a lot for the helpful criticism, and also for the compliments!
Fitz: Thanks! Just two more pages and you'll get to see her in action - explosions and all. I'll reletter the past few pages once I've found an adequate font, thanks for the link.
DAJB: Thank you!
Nepath: Thanks, I don't really know what could be the reason, but as long as I'm improving it's all good :-D
