The second page came out slightly empty, compared to the first one that had loads of sheep and the priest on the bike etc.

Unlike my later stories, at this point I still wasn't paying much attention to pageturns. In a way, both page 2 and 3 have things that could benefit from being on the left side of the printed page, so I'll have a dilemma on how to solve it for the print edition.

This little tale is actually based on a story my mom told me when I was a kid. It stuck in my mind for so long that I have finally decided to draw it. I believe it's an old folk tale of sorts.
