Our 20th page! Yay!

The shortest comic yet. I've been digging through my archives recently and I found MULTIPLE versions of this strip. The original done in blue ballpoint pen (scanned as a b&w bitmap), the scanned and hastily colored first version from 2004 (that was lettered in RED ARIAL FONT, haha), then my failed attempt at redrawing and recoloring it from 2006.

While trying to color this, I took several different approaches, ending up with four or five different half-finished takes. In the end I took all of them, mashed them into a singular image using different modes (setting layers to color, overlay, luminosity etc) and retouching this and that a bit (but not much as I wanted it to look rather raw) and… hand lettered it.

Phew… It took much more work than I expected it would.
