I'm really happy I don't have to draw that guard from the first three pages anymore. I really should have thought out the shoulder things a bit more.

Notice the difference in character faces. For Artemis, I had a clear "iconic" image that I actually held in my hand while drawing his face on the first few pages (until it pretty much burned into my mind and I didn't have to do that anymore), whereas Maltus was drawn the old way, just a loose sketch and "develop as I go" approach. Thus his face and head shape are kinda funny and not as good.
