And this page shows why it is wise to make sure you leave enough room for word balloons. The last panel came off kinda large-ish, but at least you can read it as "growing distance between them).

A little bit on the alien huts. Originally I wanted to put a forest in there but then I thought "why would they meet in the forest? or in a sheer field?" so the huts came in. I'll probably reuse the design somewhere else too.

For those wondering where the wood for them came from (since it's all grass grass grass up to this point), you can see the forest in the distance, on the horizon line of the last panel.
