Aaand the final page of The Widower. Also the final page of the framing sequence.

The inspiration for this comic was Cradle of Filth's Her Ghost in the Fog, which if I understand the lyrics correctly, is about a man who turns into a beast to avenge his beloved murdered by priests (because she was a witch).

Originally The Widower was envisioned more as a "they kill the priest in fron of her" kind of thing, but later I thought… what if I leave some questions, like… if his wife is back to life, why he's still called the widower? Where does the mad look in his eyes coming from… because he killed so many men over the years or perhaps because he lost his mind when she died? I'm leaving it to your interpretation :D

Well, this wraps up this tale… next, a two pager titled "Toilet Story" :)
