Chapter 08 page 01

So we finally get to the start of chapter 08 and there’s no dialog. This chapter pretty much focuses on Aldiara and what’s going on with her. I decided to try some different angles with this as Aldiara is sitting on he ground and Nuren and the soldier are standing up. I tried to make the third panel look as though she’s looking up at them.

What I like: I’m really happy with panel 2’s lighting. I was trying to give it a somewhat gradual light, like a door was opening. It’s not perfect, but it works for me.

What I don’t like: In my perspective attempts, their noses wound up looking kind of piggy in panel 3.
