Happy Independence day! I have to say, I was totally psyched when I realized the first page of Liberator's chapter would happen to fall on this wonderful holiday. To be fair though, this isn't the first time we hear Liberator's voice. He mad an appearance, as Nelson Drew, in the flashback of Bob Benton's funeral during the Kakonovich story arc.
Like the Black Terror, Liberator is my take on a golden age super hero of the  same name. I, with the help of a few artist friends, have drastically re-imagined the character’s look. His powers and history are intact though. You can learn a bit more about him here.
In other news, I just want to take a moment to congratulate Mariano Laclaustra, a long time collaborator and friend of mine, on his coloring gig for the Darkhorse title, S.H.O.O.T. First . This sounds like it is going to be a really fun book, and Mariano is a great artist and an awesome guy, so please show it some support!Stay safe and enjoy the 4th! As for you global readers, I’d recommend some barbecue and fireworks for you guys too. Just for the hell of it!
