Page 108: Salvation

*For those of you out there who aren't wrestling fans, "Can you smell what the rock is cookin'!" was a popular catch phrase used by the uncanny Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson back in his WWE days.

Okay, so this is going to require some explaining, so pull up a chair, grab a snack, take whatever you're cooking off the stove. This is, as I said yesterday, the most confusing sex scene I've ever done. Now, first of all you're probably scratching your head wondering "Wait a minute! Just a minute ago he's getting all blowed up and now he's having sex with Carmen! What gives?!" Like, is he dead? Is this Heaven? Is he having a hallucination? Well, any of those could work, I guess.

You remember how Act II started out with Darren waking up from a flashback? Well, after getting the crap knocked out of him in this explosion, he's getting knocked back into another flashback, though this is more of an interactive hallucination than a real memory. The first flashback was how he and Angie met, and this one is why they broke up. See, in an earlier comic I did, titled "LoveSnot," Darren cheats on Angie with Carmen (during a threeway, no less), and later with a corpse, which is why she ended up giving him the boot and why at the beginning of this story he's in the doghouse begging her to forgive him. Here, he's reminiscing about those events, namely his getting jiggy with the Carmster.
