When M. Kitty mentions "that girl we sent to your office," she's talking about a certain incident which happened way back in pages 22 through 26.

This scene is sorta kinda out of place, because originally it was supposed to happen way earlier in the comic, but then I ended up cutting it out… and now I'm clumsily trying to reinsert part of it later. You may recall that Madame Kitty actually gets mentioned on page 98, when the mayor's assistant asks Toad to "eliminate" her, but the scene didn't really make much sense because I'd cut out the prior scene where we learn WHY the mayor needs her eliminated. So… that's what this is, in a nutshell.
