There was going to be a really cool scene here where the still-living upper torso from that ninja who got sliced in half on page 226 tries to kill Nick, but I'm cutting stuff left and right to finish this chapter as quickly as possible (should have it all wrapped up in another page or two, depending on how chinchy I wanna be).

Also, in case you're wondering why the lighting for Madame Kitty's pool room is so different on this page from earlier, it's because I can't really work with dark shadowy lighting on this crummy LED screen, so I decided to do something else with it. It didn't work out, but you'll only have to put up with it for another one or two pages!

And my laptop keeps locking me out of ImageReady, which is what I use to make these little extra GIF animations. I actually had to do a system restore today just to get the darn thing to open. If anybody else has had this problem, let me know what I'm supposed to do to fix it pleez! If I lose ImageReady, I can't do any more animations!
