Page 254: What would Burt Reynolds do?

It's kinda hard to tell because they're so small, but the woman on Darren's shoulder is Shannon and the guy on his shoulder is his buddy AJ, who was gruesomely killed waaaaay back on Page 20.

I'm not sure what the literary termimonology is, but this chapter of course is supposed to set up what happens in the upcoming final two chapters, and it's pretty much done. Just one more page and this comic will have officially reached the Beginning of the End (yay! gasp!). Of course, at the rate I put pages out, that's not saying much. Could still be a loooong time before I get this Cidstrosity all the way completed!
