Damn. So apparently there was more than one guard. Who'da thunk it! Looks like Otis's heroing career is destined to be a short one!
 
And for those of you new readers who don't know who Otis is, he's a crooked police officer who's had a change of heart, and is now trying to rescue our heroines. You should pop back to the beginning of the last chapter to catch the full(er) skinny on that.
