I had a lot of different ideas as to how I might end this storyline. I ended up settling on a very conventional ending, where the good guys get backed into a corner and it seems like all hope is lost, but then at the last minute they turn the tables on the bad guys and are somehow miraculously victorious. But, as you can see, at the last minute I decided not to do that ending. No, this is going to be a somewhat strange ending. I figured that, since this story hasn't stuck to any kind of traditional structure so far, shoe-horning in a traditional ending would just feel out of place. So… stay tuned! More to come!
