Looks like there was a minor flaw in Madame Poppycock's excape plan!
 
I'm fairly happy with the overall look of this page, but some of the action might be a bit hard to follow. The way it's supposed to go, the seal ate the mayor's construction contract, and then the shark ate the seal… and now the mayor's going after the shark. I hope that was readable!
 
***PLOT REVIEW SUMMARY: For those of you who haven't been reading since page one (sham on you!), the mayor is involved in a heinous and convoluted plot to pull off an insane construction project. Basically, he's arranged a terrorist attack on the city to convince City Council to greenlight the project… and Xing was one of the main financial backers for the project. Was, past tense.
 
Will see you all next time. I may be a day or so later than usual with the next update, because I think now might be a good time to back up my files yet again, since I'm completely done with this scene now. This is basically coming up on the end of the comic now. Just a few plot resolution scenes and that's it. Depending on how I end up paneling everything, there could be as few as twelve or as many as twenty-four pages left in the comic.
